Afton, Va. – The Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association (UVCA) announces the winners of its annual awards presented on October 13 & 14 during its 2023 Fall Convention. The awards recognize chiropractors across the Commonwealth for exceptional service, leadership, and achievements within the profession.
Dr. Phil Golinsky, RxWellness Spine & Health, Herndon, a nearly 20-year member of the UVCA, received the prestigious Chiropractor of the Year Award for his outstanding efforts in galvanizing strong support and funds for the Virginia Chiropractic Political Action Committee (CPAC). Through strategizing, personal outreach and impassioned speeches, Dr. Golinsky significantly broadened the donor base and mentored a stellar fundraising team for CPAC, which is vital to support for the chiropractic profession in Virginia.
Dr. Joseph Foley presented a special Century of Service Award to Dr. Paul Cronk, Stoke Chiropractic Clinic, Roanoke, whose family has been continuously providing chiropractic care in the Roanoke region for more than 100 years. His many past roles have included Clinical Compass Liaison and President of the UVCA, and he is a past UVCA Chiropractor of the Year award recipient.
District Director of the Year went to Dr. Eric Carlsen, Family Chiropractic Center of Richmond, a two-time recipient of the award, for his continued passion and dedication to bring doctors in his region together, understand and accurately represent their needs and priorities, and lead by example in setting the bar high.
