Insurance Company & Managed Care Organization Feedback Form ("Audit Tool")

The Unified VCA has developed a form for Virginia doctors to use when contacting insurance companies (Aetna; Cigna; etc.) or managed care organizations (ASHN; ACN; etc.) to get answers to any number of questions or issues you may have regarding their policies and procedures as they pertain to you, your practice and your patients.  

The purpose of this form is for you to provide the Unified VCA with specific feedback so we can assure we have accurate documentation when communicating with insurance and managed care companies regarding poor, inaccurate and/or confusing information that sometimes gets conveyed to doctors resulting in a waste of time; lower staff productivity; less time for patient care; patient and/or provider frustration; or, of most concern, inaccurate or delay in obtaining information that adversely impacts quality of patient care. 

The Unified VCA will use information from these forms to track the most common issues and to identify specific trends occurring within these organizations that may be detrimental to patient care or your ability to effectively run your practice.   Your feedback on these forms will ensure that we have factual information when attempting to resolve problems with these organizations or should we need to take additional measures.
