VCA Surveys Virginia DCs Re: ACN Policies and Procedures

We Need Your Help! Several regulatory agencies would like more information regarding the policies of chiropractic networks. At this time, specific feedback from Virginia chiropractors regarding ACN Group, Inc. (ACN) is needed.

In conjunction with The American Chiropractic Association (ACA), we ask that you please participate in this National Survey to assist both the VCA and ACA in garnering important data addressing concerns relative to ACN. We've been asked to quantify the degree to which the threat of termination, or being placed on a different "tier", causes doctors to alter treatment. Some doctors state that they underreport services to remain in-network and/or to provide the patient with the appropriate care. Since ACN uses "peer statistics” to gauge appropriateness of treatment, the alteration of statistics due to non-reporting has a direct effect on their management of providers.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey found at the link below. Your participation will help us gather vital information to share with the Virginia Attorney General. Your responses will be catalogued and viewed by VCA and ACA leadership and sent to regulatory agencies investigating these issues. No personal identifying information will be shared with anyone without your permission. Aggregate data will only be shared in terms of percentages. The demographic data requested is only for us to contact you if we see any areas that require clarification.

Similar surveys on other chiropractic networks will follow in the near future. In the meantime, thank you in advance for sharing your views and experience. Your participation WILL make a difference.
